THE INFLUENCE OF PROFESSIONAL CONFIDENTIALITY ON THE SECRETARIAT SERVICES OF BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS

Abstract
This article addressed the importance of professional secrecy in secretarial services in business organizations, aiming to analyze the factors that may influence the lack of secrecy in this context. The research was based on a literature review on the topic, using various instruments, both physical and electronic, to support the technical discussions and the construction of the text.
The study's conclusion emphasizes that professional secrecy in secretarial services is essential for the proper functioning of business organizations. It contributes to improving the functions and effectiveness of the profession, as it requires secretaries and professionals in the field to adopt sound ethical and moral principles. Secrecy acts as a source of trust, conveying peace of mind to both the organization and those involved, in addition to helping develop the secretaries' character.
Furthermore, secrecy and ethical conduct are fundamental to ensuring the successful performance of secretarial duties, as they establish a standard of responsibility and confidentiality that serves as a model for the entire team. In short, professional secrecy in secretarial work is not only a matter of ethics, but also a strategic practice for the growth and credibility of business organizations.
