THE IMPORTANCE OF LOGIC IN TEACHING MATHEMATICS AT THE SECONDARY LEVEL IN HAITI

Abstract
Mathematical activity is often considered a game for some, and for others, synonymous with boredom and even disgust. This teaching issue is of interest to anyone working in education, and this article aims to demonstrate the importance of logic in mathematics teaching, which, according to several authors, can contribute to a better understanding of the subject.
This descriptive study is based on bibliographical and empirical research. This work allowed us to examine how some students reason and discover that logic can positively influence mathematics teaching, starting with an understanding of quantifiers and logical connectors, which foster the art of effective reasoning.
