Abstract

This article addresses ethnic and cultural differences and their influence on the construction of social and psychological identity in Angolan society.

This article aims to contribute insights into the problem of ethnic and cultural differences in the process of constructing social and psychological identity in individuals within Angolan society. The main objective of this study is to analyze the influence of ethnic and cultural differences on the construction of social and psychological identity in individuals within Angolan society. Based on this main objective, it aims to determine whether cultural differences influence the construction of social and psychological identity in individuals within Angolan society. This bibliographical research is based on the Angolan context. The results reveal that respect for ethnic and cultural differences is a pressing need for both educational and related institutions, in order to ensure a harmonious coexistence among citizens within Angolan society. To this end, families and schools must work hand in hand to promote an inclusive education that prioritizes the development of the individual and acceptance of them, with their differences, as a way to build an environment of harmonious coexistence among people in the Angolan context. Furthermore, the results of this research should not be considered a finished product, given the complexity of the topic being addressed.
