LEARNING METHODS: A REFLECTION ON DIDACTIC METHODS

Main Article Content

Abstract

This article aims to present the product of a reflection on teaching methods, intending to provoke, in the process, a deeper appreciation of the relevance of using the term "teaching methods." In times when the instructional-educational process is experiencing a new dynamic, teaching methodologies must be active to keep pace with the learner, who now has powerful resources at their disposal to acquire content on a variety of subjects.

The research is descriptive in nature and, in terms of its approach, qualitative, using a literature review. To substantiate and discuss the issue, we draw on topics that have been constantly analyzed by the dynamics of science, such as: the role of the teacher, learning (within the framework of developmental learning), and active teaching methodologies – flipped classrooms and other tools linked to emerging pedagogies.

"Learning resources" is the suggested designation, as it better reflects the teaching resources that emerge in the current context of the teaching-learning process.
