Abstract

The concern to continue strengthening environmental education as a research field is growing increasingly internationally. This article examines environmental education research fronts, for which a bibliometric study was conducted between 2015 and 2021, using articles published in ScienceDirect as a sample. Using VOSviewer, the competition and co-citation networks of the selected articles are obtained. The fundamental value of this paper lies in uncovering trends in the development of this field of research, based on the identification of research objects and their evolution over the period studied.
