ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION ON THE PROBLEM OF BASIC SANITATION IN URBAN COMMUNITIES: PARTICULAR CASE OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF UÍGE.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Environmental Education on the Problem of Basic Sanitation in Urban Communities: A Particular Case of the Municipality of Uíge." The topic was chosen due to the need to disseminate, understand, and seek solutions to the various scientifically relevant problems that have impacted daily life, aiming to promote social progress. The overall objective is to develop environmental education strategies to help society shape its attitudes toward the environment and reflect on the consequences of the lack of basic sanitation in communities. To achieve this objective, theoretical and empirical scientific research methods were used.

The research is structured into three chapters and their conclusions. The first chapter provides a theoretical approach to the topic, based on the ideas of various authors; the second presents the methodology used; and the third presents the results and their discussion. The bibliographical references were based on the APA 6th edition (American Psychological Association) standard.
